Recipe of Beef Soup with Beets and Pickles
Number of servings - 6
Beef - 1 lb. (diced)
Beet - 1 lb. (peeled and diced)
Water - 8 cups
Onion - 1 pc.
Pickles - 3 pcs. (finely diced)
Flour - 1 tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Vinegar to taste
Sugar to taste
Oregano to taste
Salt to taste
Pour water to saucepan, add beef, onion, oregano and simmer 50-60 minutes.
Remove cooked meat and strain the broth.
Add beets and pickles to the broth. Cook 30 minutes. Salt to taste.
Melt butter in a pan and brown the flour. Add to soup along with sugar and vinegar.
Add cooked beef to soup, bring to boil and remove from heat.
Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.
Ready in: 95 minutes.
