Recipe of White Onion Soup





Number of servings - 4

Ingredients:

White onions - 5-6 pcs. (peeled and sliced)
Water - 4 cups
Butter - 3 tbsp
Flour - 4 tbsp
Garlic - 2 cloves (finely chopped)
Cheese - 4 tbsp (finely grated)
Wheat buns - 2 pcs. (halved)
Parsley - 3 sprigs
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:

Melt the butter in a frying pan and fry onions, stirring occasionally, within 15-20 minutes over medium heat.

Add flour and fry 2 minutes. Add garlic cloves and pour water. Salt and pepper to taste. Simmer 20 minutes.

Wheat bun halves pour a small amount of broth and sprinkle with cheese. Bake under the grill until golden brown, no more than 2 minutes.

Pour cooked soup in bowls. Put half of the bun into each bowl and garnish with chopped greens.


Ready in: 50 minutes.
