Pea Soup Recipe with Pasta and Ham
Number of servings - 4
Frozen peas - 12 oz
Small pasta - 1/2 cup
Chicken broth - 5 cups
Olive oil - 2 tbsp
Green onions - 1 bunch (chopped)
Ham - 8 oz (finely sliced)
Double cream - 4 tbsp
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Cook pasta according to the instructions on the package. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large saucepan and saute green onions. Add peas, pour the broth and cook 15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Ham along with pasta add to the soup. Pour double cream, stir and remove from heat.
Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.
Ready in: 30 minutes.
