Recipe for Pea Soup with Dried Fruits





Number of servings - 4

Ingredients:

Split peas - 4 oz (soaked in water overnight)
Beef broth - 5 cups
Potato - 1 pc. (peeled and finely diced)
Onion - 1/2 pc. (peeled and finely chopped)
Dried apple - 1 oz (sliced)
Prunes - 3 1/2 oz (sliced)
Tomato paste - 2 tbsp
Melted butter - 3 tbsp
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:

Pour the broth to saucepan, add peas and simmer 45 minutes.

Add apple, prunes, potato, onion, tomato paste, melted butter and cook 10-15 minutes until tender.

Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.


Ready in: 60 minutes.
