Recipe for Pea Soup with Greens
Number of servings - 8
Ingredients:
Split peas - 11 oz (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Water - 10 cups
Onions - 2 pcs. (peeled and sliced)
Leek - 1 pc. (peeled and chopped)
Thyme - 1 sprig (finely chopped)
Celery root - 1 pc. (peeled and diced)
Parsley - 1 bunch (finely chopped)
Butter - 2 tbsp
Ground nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
Cloves - 3 pcs.
Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Directions:
Pour water in a large saucepan, add peas and bring to boil. Simmer 70 minutes.
Add vegetables, greens and spices. Cook 20 minutes. Remove cloves. Salt and pepper to taste.
Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.
Ready in: 100 minutes.
