Recipe for Pea Soup with Ham





Number of servings - 6

Ingredients:

Split peas - 2 cups (soaked in water overnight)
Ham - 4 oz (sliced)
Meat broth - 6-7 cups
Onion - 1 pc. (peeled and finely chopped)
Parsley to taste
Olive oil
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:

Pour the broth to saucepan, bring to boil. Add peas and simmer 45 minutes.

Heat olive oil in a pan, saute onions until golden brown.

Add onions and ham to saucepan with peas and simmer 10-15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.


Ready in: 65 minutes.
