Recipe of Pea Soup with Garlic





Number of servings - 6-8

Ingredients:

Dried peas - 2 cups (soaked in water 3 hours and washed)
Water - 8 cups
Potatoes - 3-4 pcs. (peeled and diced)
Carrots - 2 pcs. (coarsely grated)
Onions - 1 pc. (peeled and finely chopped)
Garlic - 2 cloves (finely chopped)
Bay leaf to taste
Greens to taste
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions:

Pour water to saucepan, add peas, bring to boil and simmer 60 minutes.

Potato, carrot and onions add to the soup. Simmer 10-15 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste.

Add bay leaf, greens and garlic. Simmer 5-7 minutes and remove from heat.

Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish to taste.


Ready in: 85 minutes.
