Pumpkin Soup with Cinnamon and Cloves
Number of servings - 4
Pumpkin - 1 lb. (skinned, seeded and finely diced)
Broth - 4 cups
Cloves - 2 pcs.
Lemon - 1/2 pc. (juice and zest)
Sugar - 3 1/2 oz
Cinnamon to taste
Pour the broth to saucepan and bring to a boil. Add pumpkin, cinnamon, cloves and lemon zest. Simmer 15-20 minutes until tender.
Remove cooked soup from heat. Add sugar, lemon juice and stir.
Pour cooked soup in bowls and garnish with lemon slices.
Ready in: 35 minutes.
